Catoosa County manager Mike Helton said on Wednesday that the county could see 27 miles of road striping in the upcoming months.
Helton said road striping is usually done through the state’s Local Assistance Road Program, often referred to as LARP, but there are areas in the county that still need attention.
“We’d like to get a road striping program that is more consistent,” Helton said.
Helton said he will present a proposal to the county’s Board of Commissioners at its Dec. 1 meeting.
The striping project would be paid for with special purpose local option sales tax funds.
