Mt. Pisgah Road in Ringgold has reopened to traffic.

Catoosa County manager Mike Helton said the road still needs some work, but it is passable. The work, including final paving and shoulder and guardrail work, will be completed in the next two weeks.

Helton said the road might be taken down to one lane to complete the construction, but it will remain open to traffic.

He cautioned drivers to remember that the road is still considered a construction zone and to drive more slowly than the 55-mph speed limit.

A portion of the road was washed away by flooding in September.

I have been to some of them and no it hasn't been explained "thoroughly". Citizen shouldn't have to be at all the meetings to find out what's going on!

All of these concerns have already been thoroughly explained at Commissioner meetings throughout the entire process.

It took less than 2 weeks to fix Signal Mountain Blvd which was on the side of a bluff. Actually it was 12 days and it was pave smooth. 4 months and can it please be explained how anyone should be proud of a job like this.

Wow!!! It only took 4 months to repair a hole in the road. Why was Signal Mtn able to repair a road that slid down the Mtn in 3 weeks?

Maybe if you got the road crew off of the mowers you could have sped things up. Why mow the right of way in January?

When did the speed limit increase on Mt Pisgah? I thought it was 50 mph.
