Trans Tech Logistics, a new truck and trailer repair specialist in Ringgold, held an open house to coincide with its ribbon-cutting ceremony that took place on Friday, March 12.

With community members and city officials on hand, TTL’s chief operating officer Randy Coe did the honors af-ter thanking those in attendance for their support of the new business venture.

“It really means a lot to have the support of the community,” Coe said. “It’s a big factor when you’re starting out as a new business.”

After originating in Ohio, TTL has grown to include 10 locations in seven different states, with two additional loca-tions set to open later this year in Mobile, Ala., and Los Angeles.

“We’re always looking to expand and make the company better,” Coe said. “It’s a great market in this area, and it’s perfect for the big vision we have for the future.”

Coe said that initially the plan was to open the new location in Chattanooga, but after being introduced to the property available in north Georgia, the choice to set up shop in Ringgold became an easy one.

“We saw the property from the interstate in passing, decided to take a look at it, and it all fell into place from there,” he said.

In addition to offering 24-hour roadside assistance, TTL also offers numerous other services such as engine work, welding, brakes, and tires, as it is a complete truck and trailer repair facility.

“We want to become the number one provider for truck and trailer repair services in this area,” said Rick John-son, who is the director of trailer maintenance. “We are really excited about what we’re going to be able to offer to the trucking industry.”

Johnson also said that he and the company are excited about what a business such as theirs can do for the com-munity.

“The opening of this location brings jobs, it puts us in contact with local customers, and it gives us the chance to help companies keep moving,” Johnson said. “We’ll experience the benefits of all the progression, which will create revenue for the company and facilities.”
