LaFayette Middle Math team wins region second place

The LaFayette Middle School Math Team of Sarah Turner, Helena Yates, Jamie Gall, and Derrik Chamlee came in second place, missing first place by a narrow margin in a close match, at the Northwest Georgia Regional MathCounts competition. Helena Yates also won second place individually and will represent the region at the state competition at Georgia Tech in March.
