The third annual Monday’s Market division of the Battlefield Farmers Market kicked off Monday, June 14, at Joe Stock Park in LaFayette.

A few vendors from the Battlefield Farmers Market will be on hand at the park to sell fresh produce and herbs every Monday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. until the end of August.

This year, Monday’s Market is sharing the park space with vendors representing various local non-profits, who will be selling lunches to raise funds for their organizations. On June 14, representatives of The Cottage, a home for children unable to enter the foster care system, were selling hotdogs for a good cause.

The regular Battlefield Farmers Market will still be held at the Agricultural Center on U.S. 27 in Rock Spring every Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon and every Wednesday from 3-6 p.m. until the second week of November.
