The LaFayette Lady Ramblers bounced back from Tuesday’s loss to Pepperell with a 3-2 home win over Model on Thursday.

LaFayette’s lone singles win came at the No. 1 slot where Bailey Clements topped Jordan Martin, 6-2, 6-1.

The Lady Devils would win the final two singles’ matches.

Anna Blankenship claimed a 6-2, 6-4 win over Kayti McCormick at No. 2 while Emily Weaver beat Linsdey Murrell, 6-0, 6-1, at No. 3.

But LaFayette would sweep both doubles’ matches.

Mollie Parker and Brooke Trapp claimed a 6-1, 6-1 win over Amber Callier and Anna Reeps while Anna Portwood and A.J. McCraine bested Hannah Williams and Lauren Mitchell in three sets, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4.

The Rambler boys were not as fortunate, losing 4-1 to the Blue Devils.

The LaFayette boys’ lone win of the day came at No. 1 singles where Tyler Cobb stopped Jeremy Lander, 6-2, 7-5.

Tyler Autry won at No. 2 singles for Model, beating Stephen Schaub, 4-6, 6-4, 7-5, while Dustin Dollar beat Lance Underwood, 6-0, 6-2.

The Blue Devils swept the doubles’ matches.

Seth Hopkins and Alex Livingston beat Will Russell and Kenneth Sartin, 6-4, 6-1, while Andrew Ayers and Trey Chittom downed Cameron Quinn and Bryce Ellard, 6-3, 6-2
