Ian Stephens' first two professional mixed martial arts fights went the distance with Stephens claiming a pair of unanimous decisions.

His third fight didn't take as long.

The former state champion wrestler at LaFayette High School moved to 3-0 this past Saturday with a first-round submission victory over Jeremy Diamond of Clarksville, Tenn. in the main event of Chattanooga Extreme Fight Night VI at the Chattanooga Choo Choo.

Stephens won with a guillotine choke just 1:10 into the bout.

Stephens, who currently wrestling for Lindsey Wilson College in Kentucky, said he doesn't plan to take any more fights in order to train for an upcoming tournament in China in May.

The winner-take-all event will include boxing, wrestling, Muay Thai fighting, and MMA, and will feature fighters from around the world competing for a chance at thousands of dollars in prize money.
