The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team will hold its annual Blue & Gold Spring Game, presented by the Hampton Inn and Suites Downtown, on Saturday, April 2. The game, which kicks off at 3 p.m. at Finley Stadium, is free and open to all Mocs fans.

Gates will open at 12:30 p.m. for registration to the Kid's Football Clinic, for players age 14 and under. The clinic will be held from 1-2 p.m. on the field.

Free hot dogs, popcorn and Coca-Cola products will be available while supplies last starting at 2 p.m. on the concourse under the video board, and the Finley Stadium concession stands will open when the complimentary items run out.

There will also be free inflatable bounce houses, tailgating games, and picture areas for the fans, while the UTC Athletics Department ticket staff will have an information table set up where fans can purchase 2011 season tickets.

A "Couples Challenge" will be held at halftime where one lucky couple will win a two-night stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites Downtown and dinner for two at the downtown Big River Grille.

Following the game, head coach Russ Huesman will announce the offensive and defensive MVP of the spring game, the Bob Davis Winter Warrior Award, and the team captains for the 2011 season.

Fans will be invited onto the field after the game for pictures and autographs with the UTC players and coaches, and free cookies will be handed out to the fans as they leave the stadium.
