The Sharrock family of Rossville received a new home thanks to the ABC television show, “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” and now that home’s future is being protected from termites, thanks to the SENTRICON® Termite Colony Elimination System and EnviroGuard Pest Solutions of Ringgold.

The Sharrock family’s nine-year-old son Patrick has brittle bone disease, so the home was built to be a safe haven for him. The episode was the show’s season finale, airing May 15.

Lee Tubbs, who opened EnviroGuard Pest Solutions in 1997, has donated his time and materials to protect the Sharrock family’s new home from termites 24/7 using a newly introduced innovation, the SENTRICON® System with ALWAYS ACTIVE™ technology.

Tubbs and EnviroGuard Pest Solutions donated and installed the SENTRICON® Termite Colony Elimination System with ALWAYS ACTIVE™ technology Friday, July 8.

With the SENTRICON® System, in-ground baiting stations are placed around the perimeter of the home. Continuously foraging termites discover the bait, feed on it and then deliver its slow-acting chemistry to the colony, beginning the colony elimination process.
