The Tennessee Mustangs Fastpitch team stayed alive in the USA/ASA 16-under "A" World Series with a 5-0 shutout of the East Cobb (GA) Bullets in an elimination game in Chattanooga on Friday afternoon.

Brenna Nation threw four innings to get the win while Kelsey Nunley and Shelby Willard finished up the game in the circle.

Courtney Towns stayed red-hot at the plate with two hits and three RBIs. Sam Taylor and Hannah Powell each drove in one run in the victory.

The Mustangs will play at approximately 6:30 tonight at The Summit of Softball Complex against the loser of today's winners' bracket game between the Atlanta (GA) Vipers and the Birmingham (AL) Vipers.
