Taylor Nicole Paul and Craig Thomas Worland announce their engagement. They will be married Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, at Lakeshor Manor in High Falls, Ga.

The bride is the daughter of Ronnie and Dianne Paul of Thomaston, Ga. She is the granddaughter of David and Martha Roberson of Thomaston, Lois Paul and the late David Paul of Thomaston, the late Sammy Brackett of Thomaston and the late Larry Downs of Panacea, Fla.

She graduated from Upson-Lee High School in Thomaston in 2006 and obtained her B.S. from Berry College in 2010. She graduated with honors from Utah State University in 2011 with her M. Ed. in sensory early intervention for the deaf and blind, and is employed as a deaf-blind specialist. She attends Silvertown Baptist Church in Thomaston.

The groom is the son of David M. and Sally T. Worland of Chickamauga. He is the grandson of Heatwole and Bonny Jean Thomas of Chickamauga and Paul Worland and the late Sylvia Lee Worland of Chattanooga, Tenn.

He graduated from Silverdale Baptist Academy in 2006, and received his B.A. with honors from the University of Georgia in 2010. He is being commissioned as a 2nd Lt. in the U. S. Marine Corps Sept. 16, 2011. He attends church at Rock Creek Fellowship in Lookout Mountain, Ga.
