GLMS handles Ringgold to stay unbeaten in NGAC play

The Gordon Lee Middle School softball team improved to 3-0 in North Georgia Athletic Conference play with an 8-2 win at Ringgold on Tuesday.

Canaan Burnett, Kennedy Harris and Avrie Weldon each collected three hits in the win. Mary Kate Pritchett, Karsan Gazaway and MaShayla Wooten also had hits while Addi Taylor turned in a solid performance on the base paths.

Emily Armour pitched a complete game, giving up just three hits and striking out 11, as the Lady Trojans moved to 9-1 overall.

Gordon Lee will host Chattanooga Valley on Thursday before playing at Rossville on Friday. Both games begin at 5 p.m.
