The Sheriff’s Offices is investigating a theft that occurred late Wednesday night, Nov. 2, or possibly the next morning, in which a motorcycle valued at $20,000 was stolen from a Rossville residence.

The theft occurred at 72 South Lake Terrace in Rossville between 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 2 and 3 a.m. on Nov. 3.

The owner told police that when he left for work on Wednesday afternoon, his motorcycle was parked at his front porch, was covered, and did not have the key in it.

He then stated that when he returned home in the early morning hours of Thursday, he saw that the motorcycle was missing.

He said he did not give anyone permission to take the motorcycle, and did not have any possible suspects in mind.

The case was turned over to detective Tim Deal.
