NGAC announces baseball award winners

The North Georgia Athletic Conference announced their All-League and All-Tournament baseball teams for the 2012 season on Thursday.

Regular season champion Gordon Lee had Ethan Clark, Gavin Roberson, Chaney Rogers, and Sean Coakley selected to the All-League Team while Heritage was represented by Dylan Bice, Logan Haga, and Hank Norton.

Hayden Griffin and Tommy Hicks were named to the team from Lakeview. Kasey Daily and Taylor Higgins were selected from Rossville. Cameron Scroggins and Dylan Barnes made the team from Chattanooga Valley while Gabe Howell and Jackson Bowers were named to the team from Trion.

The rest of the squad included Ethan Prince of Dade County, J.T. Snider of LaFayette and Hunter Foskey of Ringgold.

The All-Tournament Team included Caleb O'Neal, Braxton Salmon, and Nick Wilson from tournament champion Gordon Lee, and Adam Wright, Chris Brown, and Andrew Brock from runner-up Lakeview.

The rest of the team included Foskey and Austin Lovain of Ringgold, Haga and Zach Liner of Heritage, Brandon Buck of LaFayette, and Jake Adams of Dade County.

Gordon Lee's Tucker Bradley was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player.
