The LaFayette Lady Ramblers opened their North Georgia Athletic Conference schedule on Tuesday with a 5-2 win at Heritage, marking the third straight time they have beaten the Lady Generals this season.

LaFayette knocked off Heritage twice in last weekend's Back to School Tournament in Jack Mattox.

Shayla Ludy had a pair of singles and scored one run in the win. Madison Harris had a double as one of her two hits and she drove in a pair of runs, while McKenzie Hogue doubled, scored once, and had one RBI.

Jade Maggard added a single and an RBI, while Shayla Youngblood and Kiki Evans each scored once. Lindsey Shepherd pitched a complete-game three-hitter, allowing just one earned run.

LaFayette will host Rossville in an NGAC battle Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
