Several local students enrolled at Georgia Southern University have been named to the president's list for the spring 2009 term. To be eligible for the president's list, a student must have at least a 4.0 grade-point-average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester. The students were Adam R. Middleton of Rossville majoring in chemistry; Kathrine M. Lesperance of Trion preparing for a degree in early childhood education; Mary A. Yawn of Chickamauga who is enrolled in the pre-nursing program; Ashley M. Smith of Ringgold majoring in early childhood education
