Students of Ringgold Elementary gathered in front of their school Sept. 21 to show their support for America and remember the victims of the Sept. 11 tragedy. Along with patriotic songs, a moment of silence and a balloon release, student’s patriotism ran high as they chanted “U.S.A.” They contributed funds to be donated to the American Red Cross. Balloons race toward the sky as students anxiously watch. Ringgold Florist graciously donated the balloons and helium.(Staff photo by Randall Franks
