The funeral for Will Chambers, a 20-year-old Marine from Ringgold who lost his life in Iraq, will be on Sunday.
Chambers drowned on July 1 when his boat capsized on the Euphrates River in the Anbar province of Iraq. Another Marine from Virginia was also killed in the accident.
The funeral service for Chambers will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Temple of Praise at 432 Mack Smith Road in Catoosa County. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Cemeteries in Ringgold.
The family will receive visitors beginning at noon today and all day Saturday at Heritage Funeral Home across from Wal-Mart in Fort Oglethorpe, funeral organizers said
