On Monday storms blew through the Kensington area in Walker County around 7:30 p.m. Numerous trees fell in roadways and near residences, like at the Hamby’s home at Halls Mill Road and Ga. 341. An 80-foot tree fell on two vehicles. The tree split, with half of it landing on Neil Hamby's 1985 Blazer and his brother Keith's 1987 Chevy pickup. (Messenger photo/Matt Ledger
