The Gordon Lee boys' tennis closed out the regular season with a 4-1 victory over Dade County on Thursday.

Charlie Webb and Daniel Smith won in singles for the Trojans.

Eric Galyon and Blake Blevins picked up a win at No. 1 doubles while Daniel Mize and Dexter Kapur posted a win at No. 2 doubles.

The Lady Trojans won by a score of 3-2.

Claiming singles wins for Gordon Lee were Allison King and Victoria Anderson while Andrea Barger and Katie Parrish won at No. 1 doubles.

Gordon Lee will take part in the Region 6-A tournament this week.

LaFayette splits with Armuchee

The LaFayette tennis teams prepped for the Region 7-AA tournament by splitting matches with Armuchee on Thursday.

The Lady Ramblers (9-3) claimed a 3-2 win, getting a singles win from Bailey Clements and doubles wins from the teams of Mollie Parker and Leslie Welch and Anna Portwood and A.J. McCraine.

The Lady Ramblers are 4-1 in subregion play and will be a No. 2 seed. They will face Coosa in the opening round.

The LaFayette boys (6-6) lost 3-2. Tyler Cobb and Steven Schaub scored singles wins.
