CVMS student talks to overseas dad

Chattanooga Valley Middle School Principal Eugene Ward (left) helps seventh-grader Amy Hill talk via Skype to her father in Afghanistan. Specialist Hill is a gunner and sniper who will be coming home in a few weeks. He was able to talk to his family during a veterans’ lunch-eon held at the school. Amy, her brother Tray and their mother Marty (right) told him they looked forward to his return. A service-minded family enjoyed lunch together at Chattanooga Valley Middle School. Great-grandfather Ralph Dooley (left) served with the Marines from 1951 to 1966. Grandfa-ther Tom Dooley (right) served in the Army from 1978 to 1999. Father Lucas Dooley (not pictured) is currently serving with the Air Force.
