The Walker County Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for 2009 Small Business of the Year.

The winner of this award will be recognized at the Chamber's annual dinner Friday, Jan. 29.

The award is given to a company that demonstrates best practices in business sustainability and growth, com-mitment to employees and a track record of community involvement.

To be eligible for consideration, nominee must be a member in good standing of the Walker County Chamber of Commerce as of Dec. 14, with a minimum of one complete full year in business. Chamber members may nominate a business, including their own, for consideration.

Judging for the Small Business of the Year award will be conducted by the Chamber's board.
