A growing Ohio-based company expands with a new business in Ringgold, bringing new jobs during these hard economic times.

Joe Nachtrab, owner of Trans Tech Logistics, is expanding his transportation company of 16 terminals to include service and maintenance. They presently maintain over 300 trucks and 500 tanker and van trailers. The creation of TTL- Truck and Trailer Repair Specialist with its new headquarters at 175 Cassidy Lane, Ringgold, Ga., is a leap forward for the company.

“Originally, we were looking to locate in Chattanooga,” Randy Coe, chief operating officer, said. But a quick glance at an empty property made him re-asses the new business location. “We were heading back to Chattanooga from looking at a property located off exit 345, when I saw this property from the interstate and I felt it deserved my attention.”

The property located in the REMCO Business Center directly off Cassidy Lane, is now the site of TTL-Truck and Trailer Repair Specialist. “The location is appealing, but it was the people of Ringgold who sold us,” Randy said after a meeting with city, county, chamber of commerce and other business leaders.

The new company will be a complete truck and trailer repair facility, working on everything from preventive maintenance and repair work to complete fleet management. The business will perform all types of repairs on trucks, trailers and is in the process of acquiring the “R-Stamp” certification which will allow them to do complete repairs on tanker trailers. The company is currently HM Certified and will be doing tank testing along with DOT certifications.

TTL’s expansion has a deeper meaning, however. Randy and Joe know well the trials and tribulations that come with operating truck units and trailers. Frustrated with breakdowns, service needs and price gouging, they turned something negative to positive.

From that frustration came 12 strategically placed maintenance facilities located all across the U.S., all of which offer fair prices, certified technicians and outstanding 24/7 road side assistance.

This family owned company will also offer complete liquid and dry bulk tank trailers and pump repairs, fleet service discounts to any truck companies around, fleet maintenance programs and so much more.

TTL will be hiring 15 new recruits with hopes of increasing that number within months of the opening date.

The doors open March 15 with an open house in the making for March 13. For more information call 706-965-8782 or Trace Mashburn at 423-593-5201.
