For the eighth consecutive year, the Chattanooga Coca-Cola Bottling Company sponsored a golf tournament to benefit Catoosa County schools Partnership 2000, the community-in-education partnership program. The tournament was held May 11 at Battlefield Golf Course. Several schools and business partners participated. Robert Hitchcox of Coca Cola gave plaques to the top three teams as well as to the winners of the longest drive and of the closest to the pin contest.

All proceeds from the event support the Catoosa County Partnership 2000 program.

“The weather was perfect for the tournament that had been rained out twice in the fall. I am so thankful to Coca-Cola and our other wonderful business partners that support the Partnership Program,” sad Buffy Hemphill, partnership coordinator.
