· On Wednesday, June 30, between 8:39 p.m. and 8:53 p.m. a burglary occurred at a residence at 2002 Post Oak Road in Ringgold. More than $16,000 in merchandise was stolen from the residence, including jewelry, a Rolex watch, and an Ipod Touch.

Reports indicate the burglary took place while the resident was at work. The resident told detectives that upon arriving at home, he noticed the back door of his home had been kicked in and several expensive jewelry items as well as the Ipod was missing from his bedroom.

· On Wednesday June 30, between 8:55 a.m. and 3:03 p.m., a burglary occurred at a residence at 2979 Ooltewah-Ringgold Road in Ringgold. Close to $1,800 was stolen from the home. The items taken included collectable coins, an antique jewelry box, a class ring and other jewelry, as well as a CO2 pistol.

The resident said she arrived home and discovered someone had broken into the residence and stolen numer-ous items from her bedroom.
