The Kiwanis Club of Fort Oglethorpe celebrated the club’s 2010 achievements and inducted its 2011 officers Monday, Oct. 4 at Park Place Restaurant.

Past Lt. Gov. for the Kentucky-Tennessee district and long-time club member Leonard Fant recognized the outgoing board members and inducted the new officers and board members.

The Kiwanis Club of Fort Oglethorpe meets every Friday for lunch at Hutcheson Medical Center.

Committed to changing the world one child at a time, the club supports service leadership programs at Gordon Lee, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe and Heritage high schools, Heartland Ranch, Catoosa Learning Center, Fort Oglethorpe Housing Authority, United Way and the Catoosa and Walker County sheriff’s offices’ Stocking Full of Love programs.
